We are more than happy to chat to couples about how to ensure your special day is just perfect. We suggest contacting us at the very least 3-6 months prior, however we are more than happy to meet and start planning with you when you are. 

 

Feel free to get in touch with us and we can discuss your ideas. Send us as much information as possible including:

• Design and style of cake

• Number of guests

• Wedding date and location

• Theme or style of your wedding including flowers

• Any other important information you have

​We can sit down face-to-face, chat over the phone, message or email, it's completely up to you. 

 

We will work with your venue, florist, photographer and even your future mother-in-law to ensure that the wedding cake is the last thing you need to worry about on your special day. 

We Are a Bit Hesitant Ordering Our Cake From a Home-Based Cake Decorator?
There are plenty of home-based cake decorators, and unfortunately there are some who do not take the steps that we do. Firstly, we are a registered business with an Australian Business Number (ABN). We are trained in food handling and hygiene to the required Australian standards. But most importantly you have the peace of mind of knowing that we have public liability insurance cover, which some venues will insist on before they will serve your cake.

 

We have been a finalist in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Local Business Awards, and we believe our cakes speak volumes for the professional business that we are, and the attention to detail that you will be assured of with your wedding cake.

What Size Cake Should We Order?
We suggest you consider what you want to see as you enter the venue. If you want the 'wow factor' in terms of size you may want to consider a bigger cake than the number of servings required. We can also do 'faux' tiers to create a bigger overall cake but without extra actual cake so it won't go to waste.

Also consider whether you want a 'dessert' or 'coffee' serving. A dessert serving is typically a 1 x 2" serving size and when planning your cake you we suggest a cake that will serve a little more than the number of guests. A coffee serving is typically a 1 x 1" serving size and is usually served after dessert when everyone should be up and dancing!. If your cake is to be served with coffee we suggest a cake that is approximately 70% of your guest numbers.

What Deposit Is Required to Confirm Our Order?
We request a $100.00 deposit to confirm your date and also to confirm your price. This price will be locked in and will not change unless your design or size changes. We then request the balance to be paid a minimum of seven (7) days prior to delivery date. We also happily accept instalments to minimise the expense just before your big day.

What Price Are We Looking at For Our Wedding Cake?
Every cake is different depending on the amount of detail you are looking at including whether you have sugar flowers, fresh flowers, fondant, buttercream, a semi-naked finish and of course the number of people you are looking at serving.

 

Sadly some businesses will charge you more as soon as you say the word 'wedding'. Not us. Whether your cake is for a birthday, an engagement or a wedding you will pay the same.
